Mustang Lakes is a master planned community developed by The Cambridge Companies, Inc. Cambridge, based in Dallas, Texas, was formed in 1969 and has developed numerous master planned communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex including Summerfields, Meadow Creek, Cross Creek, Chase Oaks, Westridge, and Creekside. In all, Cambridge has successfully planned and developed over 40,000 homesites throughout the area, taking special care to do each with a high level of quality to ensure lasting values long into the future.

In addition to Mustang Lakes, Cambridge Companies is also currently developing two other major communities in the area. Cambridge Crossing is a 639-acre development located in Celina, just west of the North Dallas Tollway That opened in 2020. The Parks at Wilson Creek – also located in Celina, Texas just east of Preston Road and north of Mustang Lakes – boasts 670 acres including a 100-acre central park and is currently under development.

ManeGait - A Heritage of Giving

Cambridge Companies is delighted to give back to the North Texas community in a way that honors the legacy of the Folsom ranch land on which Mustang Lakes is built. Each year, Cambridge Companies sponsors two horses at ManeGait Therapeutic Horsemanship, an organization in McKinney that works with children and adults with disabilities.
