Following the weather-related cancellation of what was supposed to be the first market of the year in March, the Celina Friday Night Market officially returns on Friday, April 8, in Downtown Celina! These free-to-attend markets offer a great way to get outside, shop local, eat delicious food and listen to live music.
Friday Night Markets are held in Downtown Celina and offer a fantastic variety of vendors, with something for everyone. Live music rotates each month with various local performers from a range of genres. Details for each market can be found by visiting Life in Celina TX on Facebook.
McKinney Arts in Bloom
April 8-10
Downtown McKinney
Art and wine pair perfectly together at Downtown McKinney’s Arts in Bloom. The festival features over 120 juried artists and a Local Artist Village set up on the tree-lined streets surrounding the McKinney Performing Arts Center.
The streets of Downtown McKinney come alive with fascinating sights and sounds as fine artists, performance artists, musicians, Texas wineries and food vendors take part in the three-day celebration. There’s also a hands-on interactive area for children, the Kids Creation Station, where young Picassos can learn about art processes and create their own masterpieces.
Nature Eggsplorers
Saturday, April 9
1-5 p.m.
Frisco Commons
This fun egg hunt takes place along the nature trail of Frisco Commons! Egg hunters can scout for eggs in small groups at a comfortable pace through the beautiful trees.
You can also take your photo with the Easter bunny and there will be face painters and Frisco community partners on hand to discuss conservation, nature, recycling, and more.
Recommended ages are 4-9 years old. Tickets are required to participate in the egg hunt; get tickets to Nature Eggsplorers.
