Celina Community Receives National Award
Homes in the award winning community of Mustang Lakes in Prosper will be priced from $300,000 to $2 million.
The National Association of Home Builders recently presented Mustang Lakes, a 1,500acre North Texas community, with one of the highest honors during the 2019 National Awards Gala in Las Vegas. Taking center stage for the Gold Award for Best Community Amenity, Mustang Lakes was recognized for The Club at Mustang Lakes, the largest community center in North Texas. Silver Awards for Best MasterPlanned Community of the Year, Best Sales/Welcome Center and Best Signage were also won by Mustang Lakes, among hundreds of entries submitted by real estate trailblazers from around the country.
Located 3 miles north of U.S. Highway 380 in Celina, Mustang Lakes is on the site of former Dallas Mayor Bob Folsom’s ranch, where thoroughbred horses were bred, raised and trained. At the ranch, known as Twin Eagles Farms, many horses went on to win significant purses at races all around the country. A number of barns and paddocks remain on the property.
