Rooted in History
We’re also proud to have preserved The Club at Mustang Lakes as a piece of Texas history. Before it became our stunning Amenity Center, The Club was a homestead belonging to former Dallas Mayor Bob Folsom.
The original 8,000-sq.-ft. ranch house was remodeled and expanded into our Amenity Center, and many pieces from the Folsom house remain in The Club today, including the original ranch house doors, the original living room cast stone fireplace, and even the bricks from the home!
The developers of Mustang Lakes sought to preserve not only the farmhouse but also the ranch’s mature oak trees by replanting them throughout the property.
